We understand that the decision to receive orthodontic treatment is an important one and we want to help you achieve the straight teeth and beautiful smile you have always wanted. Choosing the right Orthodontist for you and your family is a big decision. Wearing braces has the potential to be a long process, so you want to be sure you choose the right doctor, team and office location(s) to get the care and convenience you deserve. Our patients find having 3 locations to access very helpful when scheduling appointments from home, school or work. And our friendly team will get to know you and help you along the way to make sure your experience leads to the results you want.

Appointment Scheduling

At the start and end of treatment appointments are the longest, up to 90 minutes, but most are 20-30 minutes in length. During the active treatment stage of your care, you will be asked to come in and see us about every 6-10 weeks. Keeping these very important appointments also keeps your treatment (and your new smile) on schedule. Our friendly team will work with you to select appointments that are as convenient as possible. We know that busy lives and unexpected events sometimes interfere. If you are running late or need to reschedule your appointment, please let us know. We will try our best to accommodate you.

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. As a courtesy to you, we will e-mail and or text an appointment reminder to you a day or two before your scheduled appointment. Be sure to provide us with your current e-mail and cell phone numbers. Just click on the Patient Login button to sign up for appointment reminders and to access your appointment history whenever you want to!
We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment.

Regular Dental Check-Ups

Visiting your family dentist every 6 months is especially important while undergoing orthodontic treatment. Your teeth can still be cleaned and examined even while in braces and routine dental examinations can detect any underlying problems. While you are undergoing treatment, Dr. Gochnour will communicate with your family dentist to ensure the best possible outcome for you
